A quick look out the window from The Crystal VAYA Unique sets the scene for the day ahead as you plan your route. For the early bird just pop on your skis and out the door, where your ski guide will take you to the freshly groomed slopes before the cable cars open, followed by a quick breakfast at the Hohe Mut Alm. This top-quality skiing area can do even more: ski tours lead to untouched mountain solitude and rapid deep snow runs, while the top-quality ski schools can make every beginner a real piste hero before long.
Thanks to our altitude, our season lasts from mid-November to the end of April, so with us you can enjoy fun facilities, freestyle adventures and tobogganing fun for a particularly long time.
Freeride paradise Obergurgl
Our freeride paradise is known far beyond the borders of Tyrol. Most powder snow slopes can be easily reached from the edge of the piste. So, you save yourself a tedious climb up the slopes and just devote yourself with full energy to the fluffy white. Our high-altitude trails inspire cross-country skiing fans from the very first moment, while ski touring guests experience the snowy landscape of the rear Ötztal step by step. Cleared and signposted winter hiking trails lead you to the most beautiful places around Obergurgl, where you can savour the silence and admire the magnificent view.

Winter holidays off the slopes are just as eventful in the Ötztal. For example, you can have fun on our natural toboggan run at the Hochgurglbahn.
