Pfunds is a village with less than 3000 inhabitants in the Austrian part of the border triangle between Austria-Italy-Switzerland. Excursions to the neighboring countries are therefore a must. More than 3000 years ago, the first settlers arrived in the small Tyrolean village. What did they eat? Today, in addition to our hotel restaurant, there are a few other establishments where you can eat good wholesome food. There are numerous mountain and alpine huts in the region which invite you to indulge in our Tyrolean delicacies. In Pfunds you can let your mind wander on the banks of the river or for a refreshing change, jump into the cool waters in the outdoor pool. If you move out of the village, the possibilities are endless your adventure paradise awaits: mountain lakes, alpine pastures, mountain streams, pine forests. And for outdoor fans, bike routes, hiking trails, hundreds of kilometers of slopes. Welcome to the Tyrolean Oberland.

Pfunds attracts skiing and winter sports enthusiasts with its ideal location in the glistening white. Somewhat off the beaten track, yet right in the middle of the action, the small eco-community delights winter lovers with six ski areas. In addition to the countless kilometres of pistes, the Pfundser Tschey, a high valley above Pfunds, is particularly impressive with its unique panorama. And if you still haven’t had enough, you can go beyond the borders and waggle down the slopes in nearby Italy.
