Located on a plateau between the Wetterstein Mountains and the Karwendel, the small town of Seefeld in Tyrol has been a popular holiday resort for more than 120 years. Since the 1930s, it has been internationally known as a winter sports center. Olympic Winter Games have been held here several times. And you still benefit from that today. Because Seefeld, only a few kilometers from Innsbruck, offers you one of the best conditions for winter sports, it is located at approx. 1200 meters above sea level. In winter, an average of four meters of fresh snow falls here.
The ski arena with its modern lifts offers you a variety of slopes to choose from. Ski stars like Lindsey Vonn also appreciate this and they regularly come to Seefeld for training. An incredible 650 kilometers of hiking, mountain and via ferrata routes, together with almost 600 kilometers of bike routes, create a region that outdoor fans dream of.
