The summer in the Zillertal is in no way inferior to winter. You can take long walks in the valley, as well as hiking tours through the Zillertal and Tux mountains. They range from a short scenic walk to multi-day long hikes. Our summer cable cars, which you can use for free, with the Zillertal Activcard, takes you comfortably up into the mountains and to the starting point of many hiking adventures. If you want to experience nature on two wheels, relaxed cycle paths are available. For a bit more action? Then the mountain bike trails are right for you. There are single trails for all different skill levels, bike trails and varied tours. Whether you want to explore the Zillertal alone or with experienced guides: with us, you will find the best route for every taste, from family outings to professional tours.
Golf enthusiasts you can play the Uderns golf course, one of the leading courses in Austria, which is playable from March to November. It has a driving range, practice area and a PGA golf school.
A little more action?
Running routes, trail running routes, via ferrata, high ropes courses, tennis courts, horseback riding excursions, rafting, canyoning, paragliding and caving all provide heart pumping adrenaline rushes during summer holidays.

The Hintertux Glacier is Austria’s only year-round ski area. Here you can carve your turns every day of the year. The modern cable car takes you up to 3,350 meters – even in summer
