Lässigstes Skigebiet der Alpen

The Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn is often called the “most casual ski area in the Alps”. And there is a good reason for that. After all, you can have fun here just the way you like it. From 140 easy, 112 intermediate and 18 challenging kilometres of pistes, you can choose exactly the run you feel like in Austria’s largest ski area. The extensive ski area, which connects Tyrol with Salzburg Land, stretches over several mountain massifs and valleys of the Kitzbühel Alps. If you ski down the Vierstadlalm slope on the Reiterkogel, for example, you will effortlessly overcome the national borders.

While on the Salzburg side the offer of snow parks, floodlit pistes, snow trails and ski huts is pure variety on the agenda, things are a little more leisurely in the Tyrolean part. However, the smaller, family-friendly ski area of Fieberbrunn has gained an excellent reputation among freeriders in recent years. They practise their jumps in the freeride park on the Lärchfilzkogel and hone their technique on the popular Wildseeloder. Away from the slopes, numerous tobogganing and cross-country skiing opportunities, ski and snowshoe tours and winter hiking trails await winter sports enthusiasts.
