Obergurgl offers real ski fans everything they long for, here, the winter fun can last even longer. You can sign up for the “Fast Lane” which allows you to carve the first turns in the perfectly groomed slopes before the official opening of the ski lifts. And thanks to Obergurgl’s high altitude at around 2,000 metres above sea level, you can indulge in your passion for skiing or snowboarding from October until late spring. Book your time-out in the mountains.
In summer, the village offers breathtaking views and impressive mountain peaks calling out to be discovered. While hiking, you will experience tours that meander through pine forests, lead past quiet mountain lakes and take you to fast flowing mountain streams. Experienced mountain climbing enthusiasts can make their way on challenging via ferrata and long-distance hiking routes. Trail running enthusiasts, mountain bike fans and horseback riders will all find their favorite trails here.

Stunning views
at the summit
At 3,080 meters, the Top Mountain Star sits enthroned on a narrow ridge on the Wurmkogel mountain. The futuristic architectural masterpiece is an observation deck, restaurant and bar. Here you can enjoy excellent cuisine as well as the panoramic view of the Ötztal Alps and the Dolomites. Every Saturday there is live music playing. If you are looking for a spectacular location for a very special party, you can also rent the Top Mountain Star exclusively.
