VAYA in Ladis

Holidays in Ladis –
Time out on the sunny plateau

Ladis is an idyllic mountain village with many original farmhouses and a well-preserved town centre. It is located together with the towns of Fiss and Serfaus in the so-called Upper Court in the west of Tyrol. Thanks to its location on a plateau, it is one of the sunniest places in all of Austria. Ladis is the perfect yeararound destination for all the famiy. Winter sports fans appreciate the snow-covered slopes, which turn into lush alpine pastures in summer and invite you to go hiking or mountain biking. The merger with Serfaus and Fiss opens up endless possibilities for a wonderful action packed holiday.

Healing spring

"In Ladis you can enjoy the Tyrolean Sauerbrunn water, which has a beneficial effect on the body and is recognized as a healing spring."

Active holiday in
Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis

Winter holidays in Ladis are also winter holidays in Serfaus and Fiss. By the merger of these ski resorts, you can access more than 200 kilometers of groomed runs. In addition, there are ten kilometers of toboggan runs and eight fun parks where you can prove your skills on skis or snowboard. Thanks to many events and attractions, you won’t get bored off the slopes.

Where snowy slopes invite you to ski in winter, an endless hiking paradise stretches out in front of you in summer. If you are traveling with your children, a visit to the adventurous theme trails by Thomas Brezina is worthwhile. But you can also set off on challenging mountain tours, discover the region by bike or spend your time on your mountain bike while whizzing down the mountain trails.

Excursion tip

Laudeck
Castle

It seems as if the ruins of Laudeck Castle, perched on a slate rock above Ladis, guard the small village. The former fortification from the 13th century is now privately owned. It has been partially renovated. In the summer months you can visit the castle once a week, as part of a guided tour. You should also visit the houses at the foot of the castle. Many of them are decorated with beautiful façade paintings.
