When they come back, the beds are made. The room is cleaned and dinner is being prepared. What sounds like heaven on earth to some is not the right thing for others. Fans of holidays in an apartment appreciate the freedom and independence that this type of stay brings. “We love the fact that we are among ourselves. And on holiday we like to cook together, because then we finally have time for each other,” says Bianca W
She prefers to book apartments for holidays in Austria with her husband and two children. “When the children were younger, this kind of holiday was perfect because we could simply continue our normal family rhythm. When they argued over dinner, my husband and I weren’t stressed about it. After all, we were alone. Now that the children are older, holidays in an apartment are perfect, because the two boys are now traveling without us. When they come back and feel like a sausage sandwich in the middle of the night, they just go to the fridge and make themselves something to eat.”
Practical and comfortable
Bianca is a professional when it comes to holidays in an apartment. We asked her for her best tips for this type of holiday. “Book bread roll or breakfast service,” she laughs. “It’s nice when you don’t have to go out in the morning to get fresh pastries.” But there are other key things that she pays attention to when choosing a holiday accommodation in Austria. “We like to go to the sauna after skiing or hiking. The children are also real water babies. In this respect, the apartment properties of VAYA convince us all along the line. Also a lifesaver: coffee machines in the apartments!”
