Are the mountains your world? Then you’re definitely not alone in your thinking this year: several thousand competitors are set to venture up into Alpine pastures in a team to take part in the XLETIX Challenge. Countless obstacles await them on the way to the finish line – and it is a lot of fun.
‘One team, one purpose!’: A very special event is poised to take place under this motto at the end of June 2023. Or rather: over the mountains. That’s because the 10th XLETIX Challenge TIROL INNSBRUCK is inviting sports enthusiasts to a very special event in Kühtai. There they face countless obstacles and challenges in a team at the World Cup venue. We share why you shouldn’t miss out on the challenge and the advantages that VAYA guests get when they compete.
This is what the XLETIX Challenge is all about
As Helen Keller once so beautifully said: ‘Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.’ Our choice is therefore clearly adventure. And one of them takes place on 24 June 2023 in Kühtai near Innsbruck: the 10. XLETIX Challenge – probably one of the most challenging obstacle courses in Austria.
That said, the challenge is not about being the first team over the finish line. It’s more about having fun. Together you complete one of the six to 18-kilometre routes while overcoming a host of different obstacles along the way. On the way you have to prove your skills, while going down slides, traversing mud rivers and making daredevil trampoline jumps into the water. Strength and endurance are just as important here as courage and team spirit.
How to participate
After deciding to register for the challenge in Innsbruck, it’s time to get down to business: you decide whether you want to compete with your team or as part of a large XLETIX group. After that, all you have to do is choose the length of the course you want to complete. Do you want to push your limits as a sports person – or are you more interested in the fun factor?
You can chose between these three distances:
Fun Distance: 6 kilometres, 15 obstacles
Adventure Distance: 12 kilometres, 25 obstacles
X-Treme Distance: 18 kilometres, 35 obstacles
