Vacation so close to heaven
Imagine your (or an) average car for a moment. It’s about 1.55 meters high. And now you stack (mentally, of course) 1,290 of them on top of each other. That makes a pretty tall tower, doesn’t it? So high, in fact, that you can’t even see the top car. And just as far off the ground are our two tallest VAYAs. Because both the VAYA Kühtai and The Crystal VAYA Unique are located at over 2000 meters above sea level. Or as we like to say: in pole position between heaven and earth.
Why is that so great? In autumn the air here is very clear. This gives you incredible panoramic views on your hikes. Mountain bike trails are longer than anywhere else. And during the winter months, Frau Holle spoils you here with a reliable blanket of snow. Thanks to the altitude, the winter season lasts especially long and also starts earlier than in other ski resorts. When in the valley the snowdrops have long since stuck their heads out of the ground, up in our VAYAs it is still rather the snowflakes that you encounter.
If you are one of those people whose immune system has declared pollen to be an enemy, you are also right “at the top”. Because on vacation in the Alps, the nasty little things are guaranteed to leave you alone. They’ll never find you there. And when the heat in the city becomes unbearable in summer, you can still keep a cool head up here.
