Wood, leather and glass
The term”design” comes from English. The English language, on the other hand, it is derived from Latin. The word “designare” means “to designate” in German. And the VAYA design is definitely significant. Fine wood, fine leather and lots of glass run through the VAYA hotels and resorts. These three materials are an integral part of our exclusive chalets, penthouses, chic apartments and in our individual suites and rooms. Glass, because it lets in a lot of light into the rooms. Leather, because it is a natural and heat-tempering material. Wood because it is healthy. We are particularly proud of the amount of wood that we have installed in our hotels and apartments. Because wood improves sleep, it lowers your heart rate and has been shown to strengthen your immune system. Whether oak, pine, spruce or swiss stone pine – it keeps the room free of harmful emissions and is breathable at the same time. You will be able to feel and smell the difference.
A common trait
Clear lines and muted, soft colours characterise our style, which runs throughout the properties. After all, we want you to feel equally comfortable in all our hotels and apartments and thus create a common trait. In many of our hotels in some of the suites, chalets and penthouses and in the public area of our properties you will find fireplaces either in t. Not because they are chic, but because they create warmth and well-being and a place to meet and converse and yes, they are also chic.
