The network of mountain bike trails is growing continuously. Some holiday regions, such as Sölden or Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn, have even made a name for themselves internationally as mountain bike regions. Autumn in the mountains is definitely varied.
Wonderful view
The dry and clear autumn air allows for wonderful distant views and are the perfect conditions for photographers with the beautiful Autumn colors of the forests. Anyone who has ever set off in the morning dew understands the magic of this season. If you go on a hike in autumn, however, you should pay attention to a few things. For example, the days are getting shorter. If you are planning longer tours, you need a headlamp in your backpack. Especially in the morning you need to be careful as some of the trails can be moist and slippery, in addition, the temperatures can fluctuate strongly during the day. Weatherproof clothing based on the onion principle of layering and sturdy footwear are just as important as good planning.
